Spiderpig! Spiderpig!

Today became a long day for me since I was up since 5:30am, went to my classmate’s house, watched Harry Potter [finally!] and attended my classes before going home again. @_@

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was quite better compared to the Goblet of Fire for me, since it covered a bit more of the novel this time. The CGE’s on the fight scenes [especially during Voldermort-Dumbledore scene] were awesome. What became a bit depressing though is that they didn’t go in-depth with the character ego [like I was expecting to cry at the end, unfortunately, I was disappointed LOL]. It could’ve been better if they added the scenes like:

  • Arthur Weasley’s stay at Mungo’s [note: Lockheart and Neville's relatives were there and it could've put more impact on Neville's past]
  • Kreacher [they only showed him twice!]
  • Cho Chang [I thought it was her friend who spilled about DA, not her, and she's SO not romantic like the one in the novel]
  • Harry and Cho’s date [I was really looking forward to it more than the kissing scene]
  • Department of Mysteries [I didn't see much action at the beginning, like, they walked through the prophecy hall without doing the puzzle thingies!]

I could’ve added more if I had reread the book. @_@

Anyway, I understand that they’re trying to compress the whole story into 2 1/2 hours without much alterations into the story [Book five was the longest of the collection], and I’d like to give a thumbs up to the creators of the movie, and to the actors for giving justice to Rowling’s masterpiece.

Before the movie started, we caught a glimpse of the upcoming The Simpsons Movie [to be shown in theaters tomorrow], and I can’t help but laugh at some of the punchlines at the trailer, like:

Adviser: Springfield has reached the crisis level. I’ve narrowed your choices into five unthinkable options.
President: I’ve been elected to leaaaad, not to reaaaad.

This one made me LOL hard.

Marge: Where did all these footprints came from?
Homer [with a pig held as it walks along the ceiling]: Spiderpig, spiderpig, just whatever, spiderpig!

And that made me want to watch the movie next week. XD
